I began by determining the focus of my magazine, which centers on pets, primarily cats. Following this, I selected images of cats from my iPhone gallery and photographed additional pets. I then sketched the layouts for the magazine, starting with the cover. After completing the cover design, I thoughtfully planned each spread, placing images and placeholder text to identify the optimal arrangement.
Once I had a clear vision for the magazine’s content, I edited the images in Photoshop and then placed everything into InDesign. I particularly enjoyed creating advertisements for the magazine, utilizing various tools in Photoshop to enhance their appeal.
